Job Description
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our engineering team to new heights of excellence. You will oversee a team of two skilled engineers and be responsible for managing and optimizing our manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team’s success in meeting company objectives.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Identify opportunities for automation and implement technological advancements.
Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as production, quality assurance, and R&D to drive product development, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the engineering department budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and adherence to financial goals.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment for the engineering team, adhere to safety regulations, and promote a culture of safety awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in engineering management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management and process optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
