Maintenance Engineer
Functie omschrijving
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Department Manager, you’ll be responsible for a dynamic and impactful range of activities:
- Develop and manage the Risk Matrix to anticipate and mitigate potential risks.
- Design preventive measures and define critical spare parts using FMECA methodology.
- Determine the lowest possible Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and prioritize cost-effective solutions.
- Plan replacement investments in line with equipment’s technical end-of-life cycles.
- Act as a technical advisor and provide hands-on support during both planned and unexpected production stops.
- Improve equipment uptime through failure analysis (RCA methodology) and establish preventative actions.
- Implement and oversee predictive maintenance strategies to stay ahead of potential issues.
- Define technical competencies and contribute meaningfully to the maintenance team’s effectiveness.
- Coordinate closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers, contractors, industry organizations, and engineering firms.
Functie eisen
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within an industrial production setting.
- Comfortable working on the shop floor to identify key bottlenecks and stay updated on ongoing operations.
- Proficient in project management and structured planning.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations.
- VCA VOL certification required.
- Familiar with MS Office and maintenance management systems.
- Reliable, resilient, and results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Dutch with basic knowledge of English and a working knowledge of French and German.
